Dear Hello Doggie Kennel:
We just wanted to drop you a line to tell you (again) how pleased we are with the Golden Doodle puppy we purchased from your kennel. As you know, our 7 year old son has allergies and asthma. We had been looking for a dog for him for nearly two years, but many of the so-called “hypo-allergenic” breeds gave him an allergic reaction. Then we learned of your dogs. It was one of the only dogs that did not give him an allergic reaction. He was thrilled to learn that he could finally own a pet other than fish! Thank goodness because when he (and my wife and I ) saw how CUTE your puppies were there was no turning back.
Our dog, Maci, has been a great addition to our family. She has a calm disposition and is very friendly/social, both with humans and other dogs. She is a wonderful playmate and companion for our son. In addition, she is highly intelligent and is a quick learner. She was fetching within the first hour after we took her home! After a few training classes, she was sitting, laying and staying on command.
The other great thing your kennel offers over others is the extensive genetic testing your dames and sire have undergone. It gave us peace of mind. For all these reasons, we would recommend your dogs to anyone. Thanks again!

Hi Caron,
Like the great Longhorn lineage she has, she slept straight through from 12:30am – 5:30am in her crate, with nary a whimper. And this morning, she attacked the Austin landscape with vigor, confidently crossing streets, socializing briefly with other people who commented on her adorableness. She loves sitting calmly and staring at the birds and squirrels.
She’s already a fan favorite of our building, always walking with a bit of a trot and a wag of the tail. I think she’s on her way to getting accustomed to Austin and probably can’t wait to have all her Austin relatives come back for a quick trip and take her to their favorite places.
Thanks again for all the help. All the books tell us that the ease of transition depends greatly on the quality of the breeder, and we couldn’t have been more blessed there.

Just a quick update…she is an absolute pleasure. My goodness, she went to the back kitchen door today and let me know that she needed to go out to go to the bathroom. The girls just adore her. She slept the entire first night from about 10 to 5:30 and on a good start tonight as well. She loves the black metal crate we got her. The girls have been sleeping in their sleeping bags beside her. So cute. She sometimes goes in to the crate on her own and just plays with a toy or goes to take a nap. I don’t know what you did the in the 12 weeks you had her (other than love her) but it has made her a beautiful, playful and sweet dog. Thanks again!!!

Remi is very happy about having an acre of property to claim as his own. Caron I cannot tell you how amazing he is. So loyal and smart and he is like a human. We are so blessed.

Wanted to send along some recent photos of Canela, she turned 4 months old last Friday and is loving Austin. She is a fan favorite everywhere we go, especially due to her love of people/dogs and her burnt orange hair color. Hopefully, you can see in the photos her fun-loving personality.
We recently moved to a new house in Tarrytown, with a pool, yard and large living room with finished cement flooring to boot. Given the heat, Canela loves to lay on the cement flooring to cool down and play with her toys. While its a transition for all of us to move, she seems to really enjoy the space and watching Daddy fix the pool during the day! Think she misses some of her dog friends from the old place, so we’ll have to find her new ones. But, she’s doing amazing: already knows sit, stay and best of all “hand”, where she offers up her paw for a handshake and of course, treat! This week, we have our latest shot at the downtown vet, followed by some pampering and a “summer” haircut, to keep us cool in the 100+ temps. Hope all is well with you Caron, look forward to sending more pictures as she continues to grow. She does still finish her food in about a minute!
